Isn’t that why we got into jewelry making to begin with? ^.^ I can totally empathize with attachment though. I procrastinated for most of the year about doing shows because I was “busy”, “didn’t have enough money” or “wasn’t settled enough”…when in reality I just didn’t want to sell anything. I made them, and I love them.

Pricing gets us all at one point. I had people over-pay me in the beginning, and say I deserved it. I bought an Excel price calculator from http://www.enioken.com and it was the best $5 I ever spent! I still have trouble selecting the “correct” (higher) price…but at least I get good suggestions! I know I’m probably still under-marking some jewelry, but this way my prices are more reasonable (for my labor). Not all of us are instinctive business owners. Would we be artists if we were?

Your jewelry is beautiful. Don’t worry about trends, create your own. I do agree with the others, your prices tend to be on the lower side. Maybe you could look at artists you admire and study their items and respective prices. If it’s similar to the work you do, it may help you understand how/why they priced something that way.
