I bought the dental at the dollar store.
Some glue will soften if put in a jewelry cleaner overnight.
I heard rubbing alcohol works well but not to soak overnight.
I use the alcohol for melting the old was on my kitchen floor.

I’ve never had to use heat for opening prongs.

But if you can’t get the prongs open, I suppose you might experiment with heat.

I’ve also seen other instructors carefully use and exact-knive.
