Some time ago I made bracelets with dispatch old jewelry components, post on black and brown lether, with rivets and bronze wire, it was fun and the result was so beautiful. Your article make me to take my bracelets on the next level, I will show you what coming up. Thank you again, gorgeous bracelets you make, well done!

Thank you for the inspiration. Your tips on the E6000 are priceless, since I have yet to use it in my work. I have tried many adhesives , but the results were indifferent and limiting to my creativity. I am very encouraged by your experience and have high hopes for my jewelry designs (once I have acquired some E6000 ;).

Lots of good info here. I prefer solder, but there are some materials where that just won’t work. Riveting is great, but can something interfere with the piece. It’s helpful info that the field testing was done too! Thanks for sharing all the details!

I love working with metal and always stopped at adding a component due to the lack of soldering skills. Wow, you just showed me a whole new world. I’ve used the glue you’ve used on other crafty things, but never knew it would work this well on metal. Thanks you soooooo much for this info! I love how everyone is so willing to share their ideas!

Thank you for this info on E6000. I had no idea that it could hold metal components so securely. I had always used this glue for pliable things like leather and ribbons. But your info helps expands the use of the E6000 for me. Appreciate your sharing!

I do a lot of ‘upcycling’ and while I use the E6000 for attaching and holding pieces in place, it’s nice to know you’ve ‘tested’ the endurance factor with the various bonds you make. I also let components set, dry, or be clamped for a minimum of 2 days, just to be sure.
Your work is just beautiful!
