I think they’ll sell for that reason. It is just a question of price and marketing.

And you have and ingenious technique, as well. If you are really worried about finding customers for your pieces, you may want to look into selling your items through museum gift shops. I will bet there places like museums of natural history that would love to carry your work.

I think the story behind your pieces and the fact that they are scaled down drawings of an actual prehistoric creature is a great selling point! I think these pieces show great skill and expertise both in jewellery making and palaeontology.

The story alone will sell your jewelry! Not only can you explain the process (a toothpick, really?!) which will WOW them, but then a little history as well. Remember, the longer you can keep them in your booth, the more apt to make a sale. And girl, you have ALOT to say to them! Good luck, I think they are awesome!

And it’s fascinating to see how paleontology can be translated into fab artistic motifs for jewelry. Have you ever considered selling these through a natural history museum? Their clientele would probably be very interested in your work. Thanks for sharing these – I hope you’ll share more of your work with us! 🙂

I really like these pieces. I wonder too, how many customers you’ll be able to find. On the other hand, I always think that if you’re doing what you love (and you’re combining two things you love), it’ll be a success. I’d love to hear how the combination of your two passions turns out down the road. Good luck!
