Holiday Photo Props for Jewelry

Here are a couple of simple but festive props for displaying or photographing holiday jewelry. I was pleased with my results and wanted to share them.

The backdrop I used for some of the shots was an inexpensive tree skirt (or snow blanket) available at craft and fabric stores. For other shots I used a mini brandy snifter to hang the earrings on and filled it with fake snow.

I also piled some extra snow around the glass to add to the bright, snowy look. These ideas could work well for shows or home parties as well. (You just might need to do a little extra vacuuming afterwards…)
