The aluminum is soft enough and the hole will not tear. It’s easier to do it when the band is flat, but I have been able to punch a tiny hole at the ends when curved.

Because aluminum is a soft metal, you could try with a perforator or punch hole. The kind that has a rotating rod mounted on a rectangular piece of metal. With the pressure of the rotation, the hole is slowly created.

Because of the design of the bangle, there will be some movement of the structure if it has to be opened a bit as it’s put on, so if you set a crystal on the band with glue, the constant flexing would surely make it come loose.

Bracelets sometimes get knocked around a bit since they’re worn right next to the hand. You might experiment with using both glue and wirework (adding the wirework after the glue is completely dry). However, if the crystal is a bead, wirework alone should be enough to attach it firmly to the bracelet. What I was wondering is whether the crystal and any wirework would cover up your stamping?
