Thank you for your lovely compliment on this site, Billie Jean! You are right to be cautious about using characters created by someone else. We have a post about that here:
Trademark Licensing Question – and be sure to read the comments below the main post there.
I hope this helps, and I wish you all the best. 🙂

I purchased charms of the Frozen characters off ebay to make necklaces. and I have been reading that because they are Disney characters I can not resale them. Is this correct? And if it is, why can they be sold on ebay and etsy? any info would be greatly appreciated.
thank you all….. just love this site

I’m using Swarovski hearts for Christmas for my four daughters and two daughters in law. They do grow on you don’t they? just enjoy the feelings.

I too fell in love with hearts in my late seventies and enjoy them anywhere.

I think they can be too cutesy and cliched. But yours are wonderful. Very fresh and unique. I love them.

They are definitely not a boring, or played out style of heart. I wish I could work wire like you do. I love every piece you post!

I especially love how you incorporated some twisted wire into the first heart pendant.

I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one weird about hearts. Years ago I made earrings with Hill Tribes silver charms—leaf-shaped, I thought, because of the stamped design. They are very comfortable to wear and one of my favorites. I received many compliments on my “hearts”, which surprised me. Now, as I start to learn wire-working, I want to try Sharilyn Miller’s heart links, which look like a stylized ram’s head to me…..

But yours are not the rather corney “cutesy” version. They’re very beautiful and at first glance, you don’t notice that they are hearts. Maybe I’ll be inspired to try a few pieces “with heart”.

I recently made a little heart for my mother. It didn’t hurt too bad. (Hey, there’s Barbara, too!)
