My first ever wire heart with Serpentine and Amethyst
I was always cautious about heart shapes, especially around Valentines Day. I found them tacky and cheesy. But at the same time I always wanted to create my own wire heart. And so I did.
I made it a delicate coiled and woven kind, but then also chose to make it larger than usual for a bigger impact on faint-hearted. Oops, no pun intended, I think.
Did I mention it was meant as a statement piece?
And I loved it so much that I can’t stop here. For the whole month of January and part of February I am going to challenge myself and create as many unique heart designs as I can.
And so my Heart Challenge begins!
