I keep buying raw materials, but don’t have the time to sit down and make something. Too tired by the time everyone’s asleep. Thanks for the suggestions above. 🙂

I have two athletes and I never miss a game, BUT I also never go to a game without a beading bag stuffed with a current project, my inspiration journal, tools, etc. It weighs a ton and I don’t always bead at games – but I do more often than not.

I also take breaks to bead – even if it’s only 15 mins to examine a stitch, choose materials, look at inspiration, bend a piece of wire, etc. If you get those little tasks done, when you have a larger block of time you can be really productive.

It also helps if you have a plan of things you want to get done each day and week. Make the tasks manageable in size – but write them down and get them done. It’s the only way things move forward.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed keeping my jewelry blog up to date – taking pictures of projects as they’re being made, when their done, writing instructions – but I find the more I do it, the more it moves forward naturally. Once I put the camera away or take some time off – Ugh! it’s so hard to get it moving again!

Last, but not least, hire someone to clean your house and do your laundry once a week. 🙂

Best-
Lisa
