Handcrafted Rotating Earring Display

When I first started to show my jewelry, I began with a trunk show at my home. I displayed my earrings on a picture frame and used some artistic holders from Michaels. This past fall I participated in two craft shows.

At the first, I used my picture frames and displayed my earrings that way. However, I felt it was limited in how many earrings I could display so I changed my design for the second showing. Thanks to a lot of looking through other ideas in this forum, I came up with a new design.

I decided to use the picture frame idea but to put them together in a square and display them on a revolving table. I purchased a lazy susan online that was large enough to hold the larger picture frames that I wanted to use. My husband found just the right hinges to connect two picture frames together making it very easy to take down and store.

I used a background paper under the existing glass. I can change the background if I decide to go with a different theme. My husband purchased strips of plastic material with an adhesive backing from Home Depot. I cut the strips to size and made three rows on the existing glass.

The plastic material has a channel in it so the earring cards sit in nicely. The result is an earring stand that can hold a large number of earrings. I can put four earrings cards in each strip resulting in a display that can handle 48 earrings cards.

The lazy susan enables folks to look at the display by revolving it. It works very nice within my booth setup.
