The jewelry, sculptures and the clothes are so inventive. I need to take a class to move to the next level of creative combinations. Thanks for the encouragement.

I also made the embossed copper sheets link listed as well.

My mistake was thinking I could achieve more green/blue patina by leaving them to soak in vinegar/ salt for a few days. After the ammonia soak, I washed them, dried them an hour or so them used a wire wheel attachment for a Dremel tool but only removed a criss-cross section of the patina. So, I have green/blue/dark areas and copper color all on each disc. Hope this helps, I made a big mess but I wouldn’t give up on my squished copper discs!

Just trying to understand the patina process used here. Are you saying that you first used vinegar and salt follow by ammonia and salt and didn’t like the outcome? Or is this just a vinegar and salt patina, hence the color blue green color? Also, when you said “A follow up with a visit to my wire wheel might fix everything,” what is a wire wheel?

My son-in-law is a keeper for sure, he just gave me his old Dremel!!!!!

Thanks for your encouragement, I have my first jewelry show this weekend. It will be great to see what people respond to in person.

Your son-in-law sounds like a keeper. 🙂 I enjoyed hearing about your journey through making these pieces. And I love the vintage brass claim tag as a pendant! Thanks so much for sharing these with us, Teri! You have a talent for grunge.
