Memory Wire Choker Necklaces with Mini Green Pearls and Rose Pendants

Now that my green leather jewellery collection is safely delivered to and set up in its new home for the Christmas season (but hopefully it doesn’t get too comfortable there!), I have time to share a few more pictures.

For these pieces, I combined my gold-gilded and embellished leather roses with vintage pearl beads that came from two sources – a vintage string of pearls and beads, and green pearl beads off of an embellished vintage sweater. Both of these I had in my stash, and when I was looking for what to use with the green leather, these are what seemed the prettiest to me.

Rose Brooch and Hair Pins

One of the very last pieces I made was the brooch, and I decided I’d like to add a feather to it. When I saw how pretty the light green feather looked with it, and how it softened and lightened the piece, and added a feminine, romantic air to it, I had to go back and add feathers to most of the other pieces! To me, they added the finishing touch.
