Alethia, thank you for your lovely comment! That’s so nice to hear. And I love your dedication to teaching beading skills – I imagine all the ripples you’re putting out into the world – and the positive effects they have. Keep up your wonderful work! 🙂

I, too, look forward to your newsletter each month; I actually save them as well so I can refer to them later. I am very excited about many of the ideas you put forward but am so tied up with my 9-5 that I am greatly hampered to work otherwise. I really wished I had the kind of space/market to showcase my ideas (some from yours) because I know I could make a living from those sales. However, I cannot risk doing that just now. My husband and I actually go to schools, community youth groups, church groups and teach the skill of beading free of cost. This we have had to kind of cut back on a bit because of the lack of funds to buy raw material. I,too, think you are a good person. Thanks again for the ideas; I am sure you are making many people happy.

Pam,thank you so much for your lovely message! I’m thrilled to hear that my newsletter and tutorials have been inspiring for you. That really makes my day.

And about what you said, that you haven’t yet done one sculpture that captures what you started out to do. My jewelry ideas are often just like that too! I often start with one vision, but somehow it evolves as I work – either because my original idea didn’t work as well in reality as it did in my head; or because I’m just designing as I go. 🙂

And it’s one of the few posts I save as well. I guess it’s the overall clean look of all your work, almost minimalist sometimes, but when you really look it over, it’s wonderful. I know I have tried several of your techniques and each one opens the door to all sorts of cool ideas. I keep thinking one of these days I can come up with some cool idea to share with you, but so far, since I gave up on my beadwork, I haven’t found my niche. I play a lot with clay, and now a bit of homemade paper clay. I draw, I paint, I build things with wood, but so far, I haven’t settled on one medium that really stands out. I do love the wire work as it ties so many projects, or mediums together in so many ways and adds that bit of bling that i used to get with the beads. I love sculpting with polymer clay and so far that has kept my interest the most and I think it’s because I haven’t yet done one sculpture that captures what I start out to do. LOL, In other words, they aren’t very good. 🙂 It’s really fun trying though and I’ve been told anyone can learn it, the trick is in practicing and not giving up.
Anyway, I just wanted to touch base with everyone and to Thank You for sharing your knowledge, you are a good person, no doubt about it. 🙂 Pam

I think I am leaning toward Version #2 because of the boho influence. Again, both are beautiful.

I don’t think I can decide either! The chain one is a great boho look, whereas the other one is beautiful and simple elegance. Luckily you don’t have to choose, and can have both great looks! Great idea to join connectors! 🙂
