You seem to have created a brand that is totally YOU!! Maybe raise the prices? They seem a bit low to me. Good luck!

Thank you so much. A funny thing about my ‘About Me’ section. I had written it all out and sent it to a friend to read. They suggested rearranging the flow, and I just wasn’t sure what to do. In truth, I felt a little down and ended up sitting on it for a month before launching my site. Then, I sent it to another friend, who in turn sent it to her sister. Her sister (a magician!) took the exact same words, cut out some of the fluff, and rearranged the flow. When I read it, I WAS EXCITED TO BE ME! HA! πŸ™‚ I was thrilled to post it. I’m thankful to have lots of support. Thank you for your encouraging words, Debra!

Hugs,
Cheryl

I’ve subscribed to your newsletter for over a year, but never commented because I felt, as a novice, I had little to contribute. This issue inspired me to write to thank you for creating such an uplifting forum for sharing positive energy as well as jewelry-making and business tips!

Cheryl,

Thank you for your post. You do lovely work and your website is lovely. I especially like the About Me section. Your jewelry and your site are imbued with your positive spirit and passion for life!

Blessings to everyone. Be fierce! ?

Thank you so much. Yes, “believe and achieve” is an amazing affirmation. That “believe” part is so important! What’s awesome is that each time one of us answers our dream, we become an inspiration for someone else to believe that they can do it, too.

Wishing you much success on your journey as well. πŸ™‚

Hugs,
Cheryl

Thank you! Sometimes I stamp what I most need to hear. Especially on those days when self-doubt lingers! And then I think that someone in the world may need the same message and I start stamping away. πŸ™‚

When I started stamping, I was not that great at it. My letters were not straight — at all! It takes a lot of practice. (And you know what helps? Tape. I use painter’s tape and then line up my stamps against the edge of the tape.) The cool thing about hand-stamping is that we’re human, so the human-ness goes into the stamping, too. I recently stamped BELIEVE on a piece of copper and the ‘I’ was a little higher than the rest. At first, I thought, “Drat!” But then I thought, “Oh! ‘I BELIEVE’! Get it? πŸ™‚ The ‘I’ in BELIEVE is the most important letter. So that’s not a mistake after all! Keep practicing, especially if it brings you joy.

It’s so exciting to know that you’re inspired by my designs…that really makes my day. And it makes my journey that much more awesome! I truly hope that my work helps people to believe — believe in themselves, life and maybe even a little magic. πŸ˜‰

Congrats! They are beautiful. I agree with that ‘go for it’ attitude which is how I started my online store 2+ years ago, I jumped in with both feet. I also think a lot has to do with why we do what we do. I also believe the saying that ‘if you believe, you’ll achieve’. Blessing you with continued success.

I have tried it a few times but have not been successful- you work is fantastic. Love the sayings you have selected, particularly the first two, you don’t see these to often- they make great statements.

I have tried stamping but am not precise enough. I think it takes a special talent, like yours to make the jewelry look professional. I will check out your websites. Thanks for sharing and taking the leap.

Plus, they make ΓΌber meaningful gifts.

Along the way I’ve reached out to several jewelry designers that I admire and asked them questions about starting a business, starting a website, or getting on Facebook. And they all said the same thing: “Just freaking do it!” So no matter what, even if I still hesitate a bit, I have to let go and just do it. You’re right, most folks may not notice mistakes, but if they do, that’s okay too. We’re all human! And thank you Rena for creating this space for all of us. I’ve been following you for years and I so appreciate what you do, and the way you do it!

And I so agree with you about not allowing perfectionism to hold you back from getting online (or from doing anything else with your jewelry). Mistakes are usually fixable – and most folks don’t notice the mistakes anyway. πŸ™‚
