I have been having fun with this very cool material; I love the symmetrical scale markings left behind after the processing. So pretty, and different depending on the species of fish.

I made this necklace of fishy-and toothy- smiles at the request of a client who wanted wide open grins all around her neck!

Black seabass leather lips, 10mm white freshwater coin pearl “teeth”, faceted onyx beads, and sterling silver components made my imagined necklace an hilarious reality! And she loved it!
