First Fruits

These earrings are my first jewelry of the new year. The poly clay beads started out as small lumps of white clay left over from Christmas ornament making.

After stamping and baking, I applied touches of brown, teal, and old gold acrylic paint. Sealed with a satin varnish. Tiny brass and glass seed beads were threaded onto brown waxed linen cord to finish off these earrings.
