I am fascinated by the amazing things one can do with a long needle and two basic knots. Add a few beads and the end result can be a beautiful tatted necklace , earrings, or bracelet.
This particular version of tatting has been around since the early 1900’s, and usually one thinks of such needle craft as being handed down from generation to generation.
Actually, it was my daughter who spent about ten minutes showing me, and I was hooked. In this picture you see the display that I had for the Tres Manos Fiber Festival in Las Cruces, New Mexico in April of 2014.
