Front of Bracelet

My husband and I had these comfortable but wonderfully worn, old denim shirts that had seen better days.

As I hate throwing things away, I look for ways to repurpose items.

I tore the first shirt apart, saving several pieces, and here’s the first cuff bracelet I made.

Back of Bracelet

I posted this on my FB page, and a dear friend saw it and suggested a great idea.

So now I’m calling my new jewelry line “Faded Memories” – wearable jewelry/art made from a favorite shirt of a loved one who’s passed away, maybe some lace from a wedding dress or a christening dress, the possibilities are endless!
