Was that from patina or was it torched too. I haven’t dived into doing patina yet, maybe this winter I’ll give it a try. I love working with copper!!! I’ve tried torching it and had a bit of coloring from that. I have sooo much to learn. Are there any sites you liked the best for learning how to do patina & soldering?

Great job!!

*****Nancy*****! A propane torch is the least expensive option that will solder, especially copper, and get one with a pencil flame as opposed to swirl (learned that the hard way). After buying a couple butane torches, I finally bought a propane. I was afraid of the torch so I did some form folding first (Fell in love again) and then after I was used to the torch I went began soldering. I will posting pics soon of the form folded, patina pieces. I have been reading, reading, reading, and joined a group on Facebook. I have been watching videos for hours at a time. There are no metal workshops around here so I have to do it myself. I have learned a lot about the chemicals, safety, torching, etc…

And, those are the results from a new-learned skill! Awesome job. I have been wanting to learn to solder, but I get very confused as what materials to start with. Some gurus say a torch, and others say a pen-like solderer!?

Dear Rena. One of my busiest selling salon has been doing nothing. No sales. A few earrings, that’s it. Any suggestions. I have a tiny space, but great location. Not a good outlook for the busy holiday season. Any ideas? Ty so much. I love everything you write, make, etc. You are the best. Nancy
