Earrings made from paint skins.

I’ve been a painter and print maker for a long time.

Lately, I’ve been enjoying poured paintings. If this is new to you, just Google it, you’ll find tons of them.

I’m using the paint skins to use on my earrings.

Acrylic paint peels right off parchment or freezer paper so I search the skins for areas that I can’t resist. They’re a bit fragile to work with, but totally worth it!

As for my printmaking, probably like most print makers, I have stacks of prints. What to do with them? Earrings of course.

I clear coat all to make them water resistant and since the majority of what I use on both the paint skin and print paper is 140 lb. watercolor paper (I know that sounds heavy), they are unbelievably light weight and fun to wear.
