This helps attract customers and they can see how a piece looks with a top or dress. I also use just plain tee-shirts in white and other colors to display jewelry. I have had many customers comment on the tee-shirts with the necklaces and often ask to buy the tee-shirts! 🙂 It’s a great way to show that my jewelry can be worn as dress up or casual with jeans and tee.

As for wearing my jewelry out on other occasions, I never leave my house without a piece of my jewelry that I’ve made. I always get compliments and it’s a great way to start the conversation, hand out my card and court another customer.

Thanks,
CA Cruz

I totally agree that dressing the part is not only a great way to “advertise” yourself and your booth but it’s also just plain fun. I have a little section in my closet that is my mini “prop room”.

My style is “Gypsy Cowgirl” and I love finding the perfect outfits to wear for different shows. Check out thrift stores, you can always find something fun and cheap and can donate them back after a few wears. I dress my mannequin in funky clothes as well and she even has a set of feathered angle wings.

Rena, thanks for such a great blog, I always look forward to the updates.
