The dog chewed up my reading glasses

Hello Rena I have enjoyed your page for several years now and have always wanted to show and tell.

Our seven year old female Rat Terrier mixed with hound Baby Dog chewed up a pair of my wife’s reading glasses.

Nothing much was left of the glasses. It seemed all there was to do was put them in the trash.

Baby Dog

“Found object” jewelry seemed my only hope to turn this situation around.

The middle of both sides were chewed the least.

I used a trim saw to cut equal parts from the side frames. Next I used a rotary tool for triming up and polishing. The finishing up was drilling a hole in both sides then slipping in the ear hooks.

My Sweet Wife was tickled and Baby Dog was off the hook.
