Copper Nugget Wire-Wrapped in Copper by Carolyn Kopchik - featured on Jewelry Making Journal

You can’t think about fall colors and not see copper.

This copper nugget is polished and sealed on the front. The back will naturally patina.

I love copper so I wrapped this nugget in square copper wire and embellished it with filigree copper beads.

This is an example of thinking out of the box.

Copper on copper is perfect on this piece and not too much.

The unique shape and shine make it a show stopper.

I often combine copper with other metals and jasper.

While this piece is the color of autumn, it can be worn year round.

Make sure to tell your customer if the copper is sealed, or if it will patina. Some people don’t like patina and others love the natural change.
