Buttons aren’t as sophisticated as gemstones or glass, but it was fun to see what different designs I could come up with, and I liked combining them with other elements and beads. I thought when I did the lace and button bra strap and bracelet set I was just humoring my inner child and colour junkie. I wasn’t sure if anyone would buy them, but they were the first to sell, and the shop owner bought all the bracelets that had buttons on them. It’s fun to find a market when you do something like that.
