Coin Jewelry – Lovely Anniversary Gift Request

I had a friend ask me to make a very special anniversary gift for them. They were married in 2013 and honeymooned in Maui.

I search for interesting coins & hand paint them to make into jewelry.

There is a series of coins issued by the Maui Chamber of Commerce each year to raise money for education & other good causes.

The designs feature wildlife in Maui, and very nice.

She asked if the series included a 2013 coin, and it did. I have painted other years of these designs, but never 2013.

The best part of the request is that she wanted a matching pendant and money clip so both she & her husband had one.

I thought it was a very personal way to celebrate and was pleased to be part of the project.

I thought this was a great marketing idea and plan to start offering money clips and matching sets on my website.
