I am going to try to find the self adhesive felt or self adhesive foam. This might be my answer. Thanks again…

When I used to wear clip earrings, some places sold soft pads which attached to the clip, to cushion the earlobe from the pressure of the clip. When I could not find those, I cut small pieces of the self-adhesive foam they sell to help shoes fit better. You might also try small pieces of self-adhesive felt on the back of the card. Any of these might help fill the “gap” between the clip and the card, which is what I gather the problem is.
Hope this helps!

They are not the screw type clips, they are the spring loaded clips and on an ear lobe, they will stay, but there is a space, between the front and back of the clip and they just do not stay on the card without moving around and turning upside down or sideways etc. I have found (kind of) a solution. I will post it here so everyone can see what I came up with. Thank you for your comments -all are appreciated very much.

The punch gives me the option of attaching either wires, posts, or clips. I bought it at one of the big craft-stores.

I can send you a picture of how I do this if you email me at SimplyBrilliantJewelry at gmail.com .

I will definitely try this. Some of the clips are not super tight to stay on the card no matter what I try, they move around. Yes the card is vertical. I can send you a photo of how i package my earrings, even when I display them at a show, they are already packaged. I have had many people say they love the way I have them because they are ‘gift giving ready’ if you know what i mean. I can post them on Rena’s site so others can see how I do this. Plus it keeps all my earrings from tarnishing, or getting messed up. This Clip thing though has me baffled.

You should have the front of the earring facing front and the clip part of the earring clipped onto the card, on the back. You can make the cut just about anyplace on the card that keeps it balanced for viewing. You can use a hand held paper craft knife or a single edge razor blade. This keeps the cut clean. I hope this helps!
