I’ve been making chain maille medic alert bracelets in custom colors and sizes since a friend’s sister asked if I could do anything to improve the look of the standard medic alerts.

I’m also creating them with off-loom bead embroidered bracelets — peyote stitch and right angle weave. There’s no reason why a long-time diabetic or other person who uses such a bracelet shouldn’t enjoy beautiful wrist-wear.
