How original…I love your presentation and your pieces are awesome. Buttons are very versatile and thinking outside of the box makes your creation one-of-a-kind. Kudos!!

As you have so many buttons, use them , you can do so many things with them. I love buttons as well , I cant get enough, wherever I go I buy buttons 🙂
I “think” very simple design when I use buttons as I want them to stand out so I suggest you to think very simple… and use all sorts of cords.
Try to match the buttons with the rest of materials in your composition in a way that they are blending, for example you have wooden buttons , use rope or raffia for a warm look, if you use metalic buttons , wires will work even some cords or felt, if you have metallic buttons with character use ribbons…. I will post more buttons designs in the gallery. Take care

yes indeed there is a button in the ring. There are 2 parts of the design: one long and one shorter . Each of the pieces is ending with a ring at one end and with a button at the other end. So it make easy to join each piece by itself and both together.
The horizonal pieces are some ordinary bended silver plated copper stripes,
they have an “u shape and I pressed the ends underneath the cords to fix them in place and i hammered them to get really flat.

Now I’m inspired to see what I can do with my huge box of buttons. Was your bracelet closure the button in the ring? Wasn’t sure. Also what did you use for the narrow band breaks that are horizonital all along the necklace.
Thank you
Cindi
