I made this necklace from small pieces of amber coloured seaglass that I found on Seaham Beach, UK.

I worked it entirely in Sterling Silver Wire:
(1.50 mm) for the outline and shaping.
(0.4 mm) for the wrapping.
It is set on a Sterling Silver Chain (18″ with adjustable fitting)

BORN ON THE WAVES

A beautiful, unique piece, Marion – and a clever way to attach the sea glass pieces in the butterfly’s wings. Love how your design really capitalizes on the shapes of the sea glass pieces. Also how the fine wirework echoes a fisherman’s net – a connection to the watery home of the sea glass pieces.
Truly lovely, Marion. Love how the pieces of sea glass interconnect. What a delightful piece.
Beautiful!
