The poem brought tears to my eyes.
I too, had an aunt whom I lost last year that taught me the insights from a different world.
She was taught by my grandmother who did not teach her own daughters (my mother or her sisters). My Auntie Ruth was a daughter-in-law to my grandmother. I saw a psychic recently and asked about my Auntie Ruth because I hadn’t made it to the funeral. He told me that said,”Oh Dear” as she referred to me, “I’m too busy dancing to stop and talk” “no worry my love”.
I see my Auntie Ruth in your piece! She also had blue flowers and butterflies surrounding her home with birds and geese.
She also advised me to surround myself with irises which would bring me strength and creativity!
Thank you for bringing her memory back to me…. the tears I could do without and they are flowing at this moment in time.
Amen

I read this and it mirrors so much of my life in last year. Absolutely stunning set, truly heart squeezing inspiration. The poem so beautiful, I know she loved it when she was better. Blessed be Anita.

I share you and your mother’s love of butterflies, as well as the color Blue. Your pieces are lovely! I use butterflies a lot in the jewelry I make too, symbolizing change which seems to be the only constant in life, but the combinations you used in your pieces are striking.

Best wishes to you and your mother in this trying time!

All of us mothers love to see our children prosper, evolve and share some of our passions….. Your mother is a woman who is rich in the biggest sense…. Your evolution in her passion…. A thought, a prayer and many blessings to you both! With love and prayers….

The antiqued metal is gorgeous amid the tranquil blues. And I love the smaller butterflies scattered throughout.

Your lovely poem brought tears to my eyes. Your mother sounds like an inspiring lady who has lived a remarkable life. My thoughts are with both of you as you go through this difficult time.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful mother, your poetry, and your butterfly jewelry set with us! 🙂
