I am posting this in response to Rena’s great Briolette Wire Wrapping Tutorial.
This was my first briolette wrap.
I used it because I did not like the uneven wraps I had seen for this type of “pendant” bead.
I was surprised at how delicate looking it came out.

Donna, these earrings are gorgeous, and I love the long dramatic wire elements – a great way to use the briolette wrap! I love seeing how you used the tutorial as a springboard for your own artistry. These earrings would be wonderful as a gift for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, an anniversary – or any time! 🙂
Thank you Rena,
I liked that they were simple yet as you say dramatic. I have always had a problem coming up with intricate designs as I see many beautiful pieces created by many talented artists. Because I tend to be simplistic I try to add some kind of flair or drama if possible as not to be boring. Also I like to offer an alternative to intense artistic pieces well at least it sounds good 🙂
