I have problems OCT which limits my desire to make things like this. Congratulations for being brave enough to step out of your comfort zone!

Forgot to sign up for follow up comments…I wasn’t ignoring you on purpose! Yes, Joan, you are right…the focal is ceramic. Thanks for the comments, ladies! It really was fun to work with. The little orange beads are vintage horn beads given to me by a friend who passed away a couple years ago, so it has special meaning to me. Funny how they sat around waiting for just the right piece to be paired with.

Thanks again, Rena, for always having such wonderful articles. I love this newsletter and will always be looking forward to each one. I’ve met some pretty great people here, and it’s too bad we’re all strewn about the world! If I win the lotto, we can all meet in some sunny place by the ocean for fru-fru drinks brought to us by some beach boys that wouldn’t look twice at the old broads in the lounge chairs, but hey! We get waited on, nonetheless…lol.

The beaded band you designed for the flowery focal is just right for it. I think you should step out into this zone more often! 🙂
