Can you please let me know where you bought the beads used in these earrings? They are GORGEOUS! Do you recall what size the beads are? Also, what technique did you use to oxidize your metal? What would I need to use to do the oxidizing and what are the step-by-step directions? Sorry for so many questions! I’m trying to learn. Great job & thanks so much for sharing!!! 🙂

Just a few thoughts about the use of copper in these earrings. In the first pair I oxidized the copper to a black patina and only gave it a light finger scrub with a bit of baking soda. The pair on the bottom received a healthy scrub with OOOO steel wool. Love how you can achieve different metal looks with varying the treatment!

I did not know that copper can resemble the color of steel or silver so much, I would have thought that it went back to copper color after scrubbing it with the steel wool.
