Handmade in Serbia. By far the best and easiest to use!

Which do you perfer and is PJ Tools or Urbanbeader better? I hope to only have to buy one set. I am new at stamping but will be using them frequently. Does anyone know who manufactures the beaducation stamps?

Thanks.

They have sharp edges and cools designs. I also like their pewter blanks.

These helped me learn how to stamp without spending a fortune. These were my practice stamps. As my skills increased I bought Bead Smith stamps and still use them today. With any stamps that you buy taking care of them is paramount. Either leave them in the pouch they came in or have someone make you holders for them. I was lucky my Dad made me holders. The worse thing is to jumble them together in a drawer or box.

Look for deep, clean cuts. I just checked out Urban Beader on Etsy, the stamps look great! Thanks for heads up on them, added to my favorite list.

I buy a lot of tool steel and carve the designs out with a dremel-like tool. Some of the commercially available stamps, such as those found at Michaels and AC Moore, are too shallow to make a good impression in metal. I had bought some to use in a metalsmithing class I teach, and the students all hated them. They are way to intricate and shallow to be consistent. Lots of ruined silver – ugh! Everyone always switches back to using the basic stamps that I an another metalsmith handmade. There are MANY handmade stamps available on eBay, Artfire and Etsy – although since Etsy allows Chinese mass-produced products on their site now, I tend to avoid them.

The stamp design is very clear and easily stamped. I thin their website is urbanbeader.com-I know they are on etsy.
