I sat down at my beadmaking table to make a set of black, white and metal beads.
After making two or three rather complex, time consuming beads, I reached for a rod of silver glass (glass with a high silver content that changes color depending on the flame), and began just scribbling with it.
I liked the result, and wanted to make a necklace with them that was long, and not heavy.
The irregular sterling links were just the right touch.

What a gorgeous effect, Patricia! Your scribble beads have a gorgeous color, and the irregular sterling links are just right with the beads. To me, this necklace feels ethereal, mysterious, and interesting.
Thanks so much, Rena!
You have some of the most beautiful glass beads I have ever seen! Very talented lady!
Thank you so much, Angela. I really appreciate feedback on my new work.
Patricia, that is so pretty! I love lightweight jewelry. I’m originally from Flagstaff. I used to go to Church camp at Camp Pine rock in Prescott when I was young. Not sure if it’s still there though, it’s been awhile. Anyway, I really love your necklace.
Thank you, Catherine. I live in Mountain Club, which backs up to Camp Pinerock! I walk by it every day. What a small world.
I loved that place. It’s one of my best childhood memories! 😊🌲we also used to go to Sedona in the summer…Slide Rock. I lived in Flagstaff a couple of blocks away from Mnt. Eldon.
