Arthritis Jewelry Tool Tip for Wire Working by Patricia Marshall

Arthritis makes some things difficult, and filing the wire ends is one of them.

Yesterday I remembered a nail care kit that I bought at Walmart, called “The Ultimate Manicure System by Trim”.

It is battery operated and the “emery tool” rounds the wire end very well.

(I haven’t tried the other tools as yet.)

What do you mean by rounding wire? I’m new to jewelry making and love memory wire but can’t roll end.

  • Hi Vicki, you can see a photo of using a wire rounder / cup bur to smooth and round the cut wire ends – in this tutorial Simply Elegant Long Earrings Tutorial, look at the 5th photo from the top of that post.
