Antique Scarab Necklace

Second to my lizards, this is a sure favorite. I found this neat vintage brooch at an estate sale. An enameled scarab in cobalt blue.

When looking through one of my stash drawers I had a large Art Nouveau brooch with cobalt blue rhinestones. A marriage made in my workroom.

They became connected forever and I chose some vintage faceted cobalt blue beads and some beautiful antique Venetian feather beads. I’m pleased with the result and like it a lot. I hope you all like it as well.

It’s presently listed in my shop, but I keep having to talk myself out of adding it to my own collection…better quit looking at it…for now~
