That set my be worth more than what you think and you could be destroying something valuable. People often do not know the value of what they are yard selling. Even though a set design is simple, it’s age and who made it could turn that $35 into a lot more. My son is an antique dealer and appraiser and just save a valuable old wood desk from being turned into firewood simply because the children of the owner were clueless as to what it was, same goes for any purchase of “old” items, check before you destroy.
