I’ll try to clarify…LOS is shorthand for an oxidizing agent. Liver of sulfur. It comes in small solid chunks or my favorite gel form. Mixed with hot water it becomes a solution to oxidize (darken/patina) metal like copper, brass, or sterling. Creates the wonderful finish on the copper wire work in this bracelet,, after a scrub with 0000 steel wool and a polish in the tumbler.
And for Michelle….I’m a huge fan of Pimonkey for editing my so so camera photos of jewelry. It does a great job with cropping, and adjusting sharpness, color, and brightness. I also found that I can get a good start by photographing outside in the shade of my back porch and not direct sunlight.
Hope these tips help you all on your jewelry journeys.

I love the variety of wire techniques on these beads. And that the colors of white / clear beads and oxidized wire pull the bracelet together wonderfully.
