Thanks for the info! Just wanted to share an experience I’ve been having since reading your tutorial:
I went and got the aquarium pump at WalMart as you suggested. Have it set up so it’s right up against the container with the ferric chloride. I’m using the upside down float method for my metal. Here’s the problem: I’m actually getting MORE lines (i.e. uneven etching) on my pieces than before adding the vibration. Any thoughts?

I do have one question though. I am trying to dome some of my pieces and I’m confused as to whether I should etch first and then dome, or dome first and then etch. What are your thoughts?
