I haven’t tried it but they have a huge stock so just search for Staedtler CD-R Lumocolor pens. They do seem to stock fine and extra-fine tip pens. I’ve used paint pens for a nice etch.

The red lumocolor 313 pen can be purchased at Amazons but when Amazons does not have what you are looking for always go to the manufactures site- staedler.com. It has everything including the red 313 marker in fine tio, small top, and fat tip. In addition, you can buy a bottle of the refill ink as well-
staedtler.us/en/products/markers-refill-ink/universal-pens/lumocolor-permanent-pen-313-permanent-universal-pens/#id=20041&tx_solr[q]=Staedler%20lumocolor%20cd%2FDVD%20markers

I use markers for art all the time – usually Copic markers from Japan. Each marker from Copic is about 7$ but you can find volume discounts. Staedler is another brand I use and as stated they are made in Germany. One pen is about 12$ because like Copic they are not in US- they only sell via distributors who will pick and choose what they think will sell. So if you want to know all that is avaible from a particular manufacturer visit their site but be prepared to pay more and in some cases only be able to see the products if the mfg. does not have an e-comm site. If they don’t, just visit your local art store who will be glad to order it for you.

Thank you so much for sharing all your hard work on etching!

Hi Gaby, I think Virginia mentioned Amazon.com as a source for these markers. Hope this helps! 🙂

Does anybody know where to find them? Thank you

I am realy surprised to read your article. it just great work. for printing the designe I have used fabric glue mix with colour as alternative of acid proof pen. I have drawn the designe by”0″ sized painting brush. seasonig for 2hr. my eatching agent is nitricacid(HNO°3) .it works rapidly and good.

The ink didn’t resist well enough. So far, only nail polish has produced a nice clean etch.
