A Penny For Your Thought’s/ Mothers Memory Bracelet

by Patricia Gossett.

The finished product..

This is a simple piece and it’s made with thick copper wire( left over electrical wire), 18 gauge copper wire and pennies.

Materials needed, drill, drill bit, large flat nose pliars, 2 small needle nose pliars, wire, file, bolt cutters, phillips screwdriver, large phillips screwdriver, pennies

coil wire to the size you want, I used three, large, medium and small, then cut into links with bolt cutters

One to represent the special yrs of my life..both mine and my husbands birth yrs, the kids birth yr, their spouses birth yrs, marriage yrs, grandchildren’s birth yrs.

using the file.. file the ends even and smooth on all links

It is the most cherished piece of jewelry I own other than my wedding ring!!!

I used the one large to two med, until I got the desired length, attach the clasp with jump rings on the end links

I took and coiled all my wire, cut them into links, filed the ends of the links to make them smooth, joined them together, one large ring to two small rings until I had the length of bracelet I wanted.

using the drill bit, drill holes in each penny you want to use, and attach them in order with the copper jump rings

Drilled holes in my pennies and attached them with copper jump rings, attached the lobster claw clasp and my bracelet is done.

here is the final result, clean with brasso polish and good to go...
